Job summary

Quality Labor Management, LLC is seeking a CDL Class A driver to operate heavy-duty waste vehicles in Cantonment, FL. You will transport municipal solid waste from transfer stations to landfills, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure loads are secure while following DOT regulations.

Typical duties include coordinating with station attendants, completing logs and reports, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in a waste-management environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and heavy-duty waste trucks.
• Transport municipal solid waste from transfer stations to landfills or disposal sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and safety equipment.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight limits and regulations.
• Coordinate with transfer station personnel and dispatchers to maintain efficient waste movement.
• Complete required documentation such as inspection reports and daily activity logs.
