Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring a Truck Driver to collect and transport donated merchandise while delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. You will represent a mission-driven team that helps local job seekers find meaningful work and provides growth opportunities.

You will complete tasks, assist in loading/unloading, secure loads, and perform necessary inspections while upholding safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Georgia CDL Class A license required.
• Must pass DOT medical physical annually.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport donated merchandise while providing exceptional customer service.
• Complete task outline assessments and load/unload trailers.
• Secure truck/trailer loads at each stop and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Maintain vehicles according to agency standards and safety policies.
• Follow state driving laws and agency insurance requirements.
