Job summary

Cream O Land is seeking a TT Driver with a CDL Class A for routes between Jersey City, NJ and Reading, PA. You will operate 45ft/53ft tractors, perform DOT-compliant trips, and ensure timely deliveries with proper load securement.

Join a union position with 90-day probation, benefits after joining, and starting pay of $27.68 per hour plus overtime. Flexibility to cover varying weekly schedules is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
• Ability to perform drop-and-hook operations safely.
• Flexible schedules as needed to support operations.
• Previous tractor trailer driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A 45ft or 53ft tractor-trailer in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to various customer locations.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Secure loads for transport and ensure proper loading and securing.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members.
• Accurately complete, maintain, and submit logs, reports, and paperwork.
• Adapt to daily route changes as required by operations.
