Job summary

Clover Farms Dairy is seeking a TT (Tractor Trailer) Driver to support our transportation and supply chain operations. The role involves drop-and-hook runs between Jersey City, NJ and Reading, PA, with a unionized environment and benefits after joining the Teamsters Local Union No. 429.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record, DOT medical card, and adherence to Hours of Service regulations. Starting pay is $27.68 per hour with overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license (required) and clean driving record.
• DOT medical card.
• Familiarity with DOT Hours of Service regulations.
• Ability to perform drop-and-hook operations safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules to support operations.
• Previous tractor trailer driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A 45ft or 53ft tractor-trailer in accordance with DOT regs and company policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery to customer locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Secure loads and ensure freight is properly loaded and secured.
• Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors and team members to support daily operations.
• Complete and submit logs, reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Adapt to daily route changes as needed by operations.
