DHT Group in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for a regional propane and butane operation. You will haul UN1075 products, load and unload at terminals, and stay within Indiana and nearby markets.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat (H) endorsement required prior to hire.
• Tanker (N) endorsement required prior to hire; combined X endorsement accepted.
• 1–2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred.
• Safe driving record and ability to meet DOT qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075).
• Deliver throughout Indiana and surrounding regional service areas.
• Load product from regional terminals with pumping equipment.
• Safely load/unload tanker trailers; perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Complete electronic logs and shipping documentation.

Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is hiring CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for our growing Propane & Butane Division based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

$1,300–$2,500+ average gross weekly earnings. $0.70–$0.75 CPM. Paid loading and unloading. Home weekly.

This is specialized regional tanker work hauling propane and butane (UN1075) throughout Indiana and surrounding regional markets.

Compensation

• $0.70–$0.75 CPM, based on experience

Home Weekly — Regional Operation

• Home every week
• Typical schedule of approximately 5 days on the road followed by 2 days home
• Regional operation serving Fort Wayne, Indiana, and surrounding markets
• One weekend day availability required
• Consistent work during peak propane season

What You'll Do

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075)
• Deliver throughout Indiana and surrounding regional service areas
• Load product from regional supply terminals including Huntington, Mentone, Seymour, and Oakland City, Indiana
• Safely load and unload tanker trailers using pumping equipment
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete electronic logs and shipping documentation
• Maintain tanker equipment, valves, hoses, placards, and required PPE
• Follow applicable DOT, FMCSA, customer, and DHT safety requirements
• Provide professional service at terminals and customer locations

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat (H) endorsement required prior to hire
• Tanker (N) endorsement required prior to hire; combined X endorsement accepted
• 1–2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred
• Safe driving record
• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely handle hoses, pumping equipment, and required PPE, including face shields and cold-weather protective equipment
• Commitment to safe, professional operation

Tanker Experience

Experience hauling propane, butane, LPG, anhydrous ammonia, refined fuel, or other bulk liquid/gas commodities is strongly preferred but not required.
