DHT Group is hiring experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for our Propane & Butane division serving the Gary, Indiana market. Home weekly with regional runs hauling UN1075 propane and butane, receiving $1,300–$2,500+ per week and CPM-based pay. We offer safety-focused operations and strong earning potential.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, safe tanker operation, and staying compliant with DOT/HOS rules. Join a team with professional support and consistent freight.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Hazmat/Tanker endorsements required.
• 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT qualifications.

• Load from regional terminals and deliver to customers.

Propane & Butane (UN1075) | Regional Operation

Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is hiring experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for our Propane & Butane Division serving the Gary, Indiana market.

$1,300–$2,500+ average gross weekly earnings. $0.70–$0.75 CPM. Paid loading and unloading. Home weekly.

This is specialized regional tanker work hauling propane and butane (UN1075) throughout Indiana and surrounding states.

Compensation

Home Weekly — Regional Operation

• Home every week
• Typical schedule of approximately 5 days on the road followed by 2 days home
• Regional operation serving Indiana and surrounding states
• One weekend day availability required
• Gary-area operating market
• Consistent work during peak propane season

What You'll Do

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075) throughout Indiana and surrounding regional markets
• Load from regional supply terminals, including Griffith, Danville, Lebanon, and Monee
• Deliver product safely and professionally to DHT customers
• Load and unload tanker trailers using pumps, hoses, and associated equipment
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate ELD records, shipping documentation, and Hours of Service compliance
• Maintain hoses, valves, placards, and tanker equipment
• Follow applicable DOT, FMCSA, customer, and DHT safety requirements
• Provide professional service at terminals and customer locations

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat (H) endorsement required
• Tanker (N) endorsement required; combined X endorsement accepted
• 1–2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred
• Safe driving record
• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely operate tanker loading and unloading equipment
• Commitment to safe, professional operation
