DHT Group is seeking CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for our Lima, Ohio region. This regional role offers weekly home time and specialization in propane & butane hauling (UN1075) across OH, MI, IN.

Around $1,300–$2,500+ gross weekly earnings with per-gallon pumping pay, paid loading/unloading, night-out stipend, detention pay, and safety bonuses. Join a veteran-friendly, well-supported fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat endorsement required prior to hire.
• Tanker endorsement required prior to hire; combined X accepted.
• 1–2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred.
• Safe driving record and ability to meet DOT qualification requirements.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely handle hoses, pumping equipment, and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075).
• Deliver throughout Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and surrounding regional areas.
• Load product from regional terminals (Lima, Toledo, Monroe, Sycamore, Green Springs).
• Safely load/unload tanker trailers using pumping equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; complete electronic logs.
• Maintain tanker equipment, valves, hoses, placards and PPE.
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, customer and DHT safety requirements.
• Provide professional service at terminals and customer locations.

Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is hiring CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for our growing Propane & Butane Division based in Lima, Ohio.

$1,300–$2,500+ average gross weekly earnings. $0.70–$0.75 CPM. Paid loading and unloading. Home weekly.

This is specialized regional tanker work hauling propane and butane (UN1075) throughout Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and surrounding regional markets.

Home Weekly — Regional Operation

This is a regional propane and butane position with weekly home time—not a long-haul job that keeps you away for weeks at a time.

• Home every week
• Typical schedule of approximately 5 days on the road followed by 2 days home
• Regional operation serving Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and surrounding markets
• One weekend day availability required
• Lima-area operating market
• Consistent work during peak propane season

What You'll Do

• Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075)
• Deliver throughout Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and surrounding regional service areas
• Load product from regional supply terminals including Lima, Toledo, Monroe, Sycamore, and Green Springs, Ohio
• Safely load and unload tanker trailers using pumping equipment
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete electronic logs and shipping documentation
• Maintain tanker equipment, valves, hoses, placards, and required PPE
• Follow applicable DOT, FMCSA, customer, and DHT safety requirements
• Provide professional service at terminals and customer locations

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Hazmat (H) endorsement required prior to hire
• Tanker (N) endorsement required prior to hire; combined X endorsement accepted
• 1–2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferred
• Safe driving record
• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Ability to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely handle hoses, pumping equipment, and required PPE, including face shields and cold-weather protective equipment
• Commitment to safe, professional operation

Tanker Experience

Experience hauling propane, butane, LPG, anhydrous ammonia, refined fuel, or other bulk liquid/gas commodities is strongly preferred but not required.

Drivers with transferable tanker experience are encouraged to apply.
