Job summary

Barnard Construction Company, Inc. seeks a dedicated CDL Class A Lowboy Driver to transport heavy construction equipment to project sites in NM and surrounding areas, including Deming and Santa Teresa.

You will perform pre-trip inspections and maintain logs while complying with DOT regulations and safety standards. Qualified candidates will have a valid CDL A, experience hauling heavy equipment, and a solid safety record.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL Class A license.
• Experience hauling heavy construction equipment (excavators, bulldozers, loaders).
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbooks.
• Commitment to safety and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
• Operate and transport heavy construction equipment to job sites.
• Inspect loads for safety and ensure proper loading and securement.
• Maintain logs of driving hours and vehicle service hours in compliance with regulations.
• Report any vehicle defects or safety concerns to supervision.
