Job summary

State Utility Contractors, Inc. in Monroe, NC is hiring full-time CDL Class A flatbed and dump truck drivers to support pipeline construction crews. Applicants must be experienced and comfortable driving manual transmission trucks.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license is required.
• Must be able to operate a manual-transmission commercial truck.
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience preferred.
• Flatbed and/or dump truck experience preferred.
• Construction or heavy civil experience is a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork is required.
• Must have an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Safely operate flatbed and dump trucks, including manual-transmission vehicles.
• Follow all DOT requirements, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
• Haul construction materials, equipment, pipe, and supplies to and from job sites.
• Assist construction crews when trucks are not actively being used.
• Maintain assigned trucks and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Work as part of a team and assist wherever needed on the job site.

State Utility Contractors, Inc., a leading utility contractor in the Southeast, is seeking full-time CDL Class A Flatbed and Dump Truck Drivers to support our pipeline construction crews.
