Job description

BARKLEY CONSTRUCTION, LLC.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION
  • Safely operate a dump truck with materials to and from job sites.
  • Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts or loaders and skid steers.
  • Follow designated routes and schedules for efficient delivery.
  • Ensure proper securing and covering of loads to prevent spills or accidents.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the truck to ensure its safe operation.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage and fuel usage.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as a dump truck driver or similar role preferred.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or loaders.
  • Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and the public.
WORK REQUIREMENTS
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Be able to provide valid documentation for I9 documents (DL, Social Security, Birth Certificate)
  • Report to work at the designated start time.
  • Willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Properly follow all company safety policies and OSHA.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This is a "Full Time" hourly position paying the following range$20-23. These rates are dependent upon skill set and experience.
