Job summary

WorldLink TDA is seeking motivated, experienced CDL drivers to join our team of Class A CDL Truck Driving Instructors. You will prepare and deliver classroom, range, and road instruction to students, monitor progress, and maintain accurate reports in accordance with laws and school policies.

Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, strong communication skills, and at least a HS diploma or GED. A passion for teaching and the ability to lead by example are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A license with a minimum of 3 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must possess a clean driving record: no more than 2 moving violations or accidents in the past 2 years and no DUI in the past 10 years.
• Must be physically able to operate a vehicle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Education background of HS diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver classroom, equipment, range, and road instruction.
• Monitor student progress and provide additional assistance as necessary.
• Prepare reports and records as required by laws, policies, and school regulations.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom and on the range by enforcing rules and procedures.
• Keep current with laws and developments related to commercial truck driving.
• Use relevant technology to support instruction.
