Southeast Steel Systems | Steel Building Systems in Adel, GA seeks a reliable Warehouse Driver with a Class A CDL to join our team. You will deliver steel products and building materials, while supporting loading, unloading, staging, and inventory tasks to keep deliveries on schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and active driving credentials.
• Must meet DOT and FMCSA driver qualification requirements.
• Clean driving history per company standards and law.
• Current DOT medical certification when required.
• Ability to pass federal drug and alcohol testing.
• Experience operating Class A commercial vehicles safely.
• Knowledge of inspections, cargo securement, and safety rules.
• Ability to read shipping documents and verify quantities.
• Capable of performing physical warehouse tasks and lifting.
• Willingness to work in warehouse when not delivering.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver steel products and materials to customers.
• Support loading, unloading, staging, and inventory tasks in the warehouse.
• Safely secure loads using approved methods and inspect vehicles before/after trips.
• Maintain logs, bills of lading, and delivery records accurately.
• Follow DOT/FMCSA rules and company safety requirements.
• Communicate delivery status and issues with dispatch and customers.
• Assist with forklift operation and warehouse duties as trained.
• Verify orders and inventory against documents and shipments.
• Ensure safe, on-time deliveries and professional customer interactions.
