Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in New Jersey to operate and drive a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all FMCSA and DOT regulations. You will safely load, transport, and unload goods according to delivery schedules and maintain accurate records.

Requirements include minimum 2 years of experience as a CDL driver, knowledge of safety protocols, and strong communication with dispatchers and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL Driver.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to operate and drive a Class A commercial motor vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Safely load, transport, and unload goods according to delivery schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and hours of service.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Report incidents, accidents, or delays promptly.
