Job summary

Roadway Moving is hiring CDL Class A drivers for local and long-haul routes across multiple markets. You will operate tractor trailers or straight trucks, haul no touch freight, and ensure on-time deliveries between Roadway warehouses.

A clean MVR and ability to pass DOT screening are required. Competitive compensation ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 annually, with a referral program offering $2,500 bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience in the class held.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening including DOT drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor trailer or Class B straight truck between Roadway warehouse and terminal locations.
• Haul no touch freight on assigned dedicated and regional lanes.
• Complete assigned routes safely and on schedule.
• Perform DOT pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete trip logs, ELD entries, bills of lading and required DOT documentation.
• Stay in contact with dispatch on route progress, delays and mechanical issues.
• Follow FMCSA hours of service rules, DOT regulations and Roadway safety procedures.
• Maintain safe, courteous and professional driving practices at all times.
