JORDAN FOSTER CONSTRUCTION in Austin/Pflugerville, TX is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver. This entry‑level role requires a valid Class A CDL and compliance with safety procedures, driving long hours and being available on weekends and holidays as needed.

You will operate trucks over 26,000 lbs GVW, transport goods to destinations, secure loads, and maintain detailed driving and delivery logs while coordinating with dispatch and following company policies.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record with no violations; must clear background check and drug screen.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations pertaining to commercial vehicles.
• Able to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• High level of composure and good stress management.
• Alert, focused, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to push/pull 80+ lbs.
• Ability to lift/carry 80+ lbs.
• Physical strength and stamina for loading/unloading materials.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles with GVW over 26,000 lbs.
• Pick up and transport goods to assigned destination.
• Ensure contents are secured in a truck flatbed.
• Obtain signatures to confirm deliveries.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Communicate with dispatch; follow delivery schedule.
• Adhere to OSHA, ICC, and DOT regulations.
• Regular attendance to operate crew at normal efficiency.
