Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A driver to operate tractor-trailers or straight trucks, delivering and picking up palletized freight and large shipments. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely service.

Position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 7:30 AM start times, significant overtime potential (10–15 hours weekly) and overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 40 hours. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A license with a good driving record.
• DOT physical and medical clearance required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and safety compliance.
• Document mileage and maintenance as required.
• Deliver palletized freight and pick up shipments from shippers in a timely manner.
• Verify load-related documentation for accuracy.
• Collect payment as needed and return bills of lading to the office for billing.
