Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. in Pearl, MS is seeking a licensed CDL Class A driver to safely deliver building materials to customers and be home nightly.

You will perform load checks, document deliveries with photos, and maintain logs while following schedules and government regulations, focusing on safety and customer service. The role includes teamwork with the Delivery Material Handler, potential warehouse duties, and a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A required.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens required.
• Straight truck experience preferred.
• Boom truck experience preferred.
• Semi tractor and trailer experience preferred.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
• Adhere to delivery schedule and follow all directives.
• Document every delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system.
• Complete a thorough load check on the truck and ensure materials are secured and compliant with regulations.
• Work with Delivery Material Handler to determine material placement and unloading.
• Complete and file all logs and government paperwork accurately.
• Provide customer with an invoice and collect COD when applicable.
• Assist with warehouse tasks as needed.
• This position does not require over the road travel.
