Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a CDL Class A truck driver to join a team delivering and picking up stock in a timely, safe manner. The role requires 12+ months of driving experience, a valid CDL, and Hazmat endorsement within six weeks. You will often work 5:00 a.m.

start, Monday–Friday, with home daily and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include on-time transport, load inspection, customer interactions, documentation, and occasional warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with safe driving record per DOT regulations.
• 12+ months driving experience and verifiable CDL credentials.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred and required within six weeks of hire.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and forklift if needed.
• Familiarity with computerized warehouse systems.
• Strong organizational, time management and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, with attention to detail.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and supplies on schedule, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Visually inspect loads to prevent damages during transport.
• Interact professionally with customers to provide a positive experience.
• Maintain delivery records and monitor inventory levels.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report issues to supervisor.
• May assist with warehouse duties such as loading/unloading.
