Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver in Memphis to deliver and pick up stock on a defined route, maintaining accuracy and safety on every trip. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries and handle related warehouse duties as needed.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a minimum 21 years old, and a clean driving record in accordance with DOT regulations. Hazmat endorsement is preferred and must be obtained within the first six weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• DOT regulations compliance and safe driving emphasized.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred; required within first six weeks of hire.
• Liftgate experience preferred and useful for dock duties.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and work with a computerized warehouse system.
• Strong organizational, time-management and customer-relations skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Minimum age 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and supplies on schedule and safely.
• Inspect trucks for damages and report defects.
• Provide professional customer interactions to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain delivery records and inventory accuracy.
• Follow safety instructions to protect workers and environment.
• May assist with warehouse duties including loading/unloading and order filling.
• Operate various equipment; adapt to drive and lift tasks as needed.
