Job summary

QXO is seeking a dependable Class A CDL driver to join our North Little Rock team. You will perform touch-freight tasks, inspect loads, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining strict safety standards.

The role requires 21+ years old, a valid CDL-A, and at least one year of verifiable trucking experience. Outdoor work in all weather and strong teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
