Boise Cascade is seeking a Truck Driver to deliver and distribute building products to assigned customers, ensuring safe loading and transportation in compliance with DOT regulations. Ideal candidates hold a valid Class A CDL with at least two years of experience, knowledge of DOT rules, and basic forklift or flatbed familiarity.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork within a broad logistics team.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or two years equivalent work experience.
• Valid Class A CDL and ability to operate tractor-trailer.
• Two years truck driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and distribute building products to customers.
• Ensure safe loading, handling and transport of materials.
• Drive in compliance with commercial driving regulations and maneuvering skills.
• Complete necessary paperwork and relay questions to supervisor.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips; submit reports.
• Maintain vehicle in safe operating condition (fuel, oil, water).
• Maintain logs per DOT regulations.
• Assist with loading/unloading and secure cargo.
• Maintain a clean truck and good housekeeping.
• Support safety and continuous process improvement.
