Job summary

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Truck Driver in Denver, CO. This full-time role requires a Class A CDL and tracks responsibilities from delivering building products to maintaining logs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, securing cargo, and providing courteous service to customers under DOT regulations. The position emphasizes safe operations in all weather and site conditions with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or two years equivalent work experience.
• Must have Class A Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) and ability to safely operate tractor/trailer.
• Two years truck driving experience required.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Able to operate in all weather conditions and adapt to road conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and distribute building products to assigned customers safely, accurately and on schedule.
• Safely load, secure, handle, transport and unload building materials and heavy cargo.
• Inspect and maintain cargo securement throughout transportation to ensure materials are transported safely.
• Maintain logs and records according to DOT regulations.
• Assist associates in loading and unloading trucks or building loads as needed.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized and well maintained truck.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers during deliveries.
