Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking a Truck Driver to deliver building products to customers across assigned routes. You will be responsible for safe loading, securing cargo, and maintaining logs per DOT regulations.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL, and at least 2 years of truck driving experience. Forklift experience and flatbed knowledge are a plus, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or two years equivalent work experience.
• Valid Class A CDL and ability to safely operate transportation equipment.
• Two years truck driving experience required.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and distribute building products to customers.
• Ensure safe loading, handling, and transportation of materials and heavy cargo.
• Drive truck to destination applying commercial driving regulations and maneuvering skills.
• Complete necessary paperwork and relay questions or complaints to supervisor.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and report conditions.
• Maintain vehicle in safe operating condition including fuel, oil, and water.
• Maintain logs and records according to DOT regulations.
• Assist loading and unloading, secure cargo for transit.
• Maintain a clean truck and good housekeeping in the work area.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
