Job summary

Rain for Rent is hiring a Driver - CDL (Class A) with a focus on safe operation of trucks and trailers over 26,001 pounds GVWR. The role emphasizes timely deliveries, proper equipment handling, and strong customer relations while adhering to DOT regulations.

You will drive manual transmission trucks, load and unload pipe and equipment, and support installation teams at customer sites across the region. A valid Class A license and DOT compliance knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or better.
• 18 months of verifiable DOT truck driving experience.
• Valid Class A Driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• Experience with winch operation or general repairs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks with manual transmission to pick up, deliver, and unload materials.
• Load, secure, and unload materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Interact with customers to obtain signatures for work orders and invoicing.
• Maintain DOT driver logs and comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Complete required paperwork including rental orders and service logs.
• Perform routine pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
