Job summary

Rain for Rent seeks a Driver with a valid Class A CDL to operate manual transmission trucks delivering and unloading piping and equipment. The role requires strict attention to safety, route planning, and customer service while representing Rain for Rent in a professional manner.

The driver will be responsible for DOT log requirements, pre-/post-trip inspections, and supporting field crews with equipment installation. A strong safety mindset and flexible schedule are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and DOT-regulation knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Physical Card or similar certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Drive manual transmission trucks 26,001+ GVWR to pickup, deliver and unload company pipe and equipment.
• Maintain accurate DOT logs and comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Load, secure, and unload materials with proper equipment and tools for scheduled deliveries.
• Complete Job Site Analysis and interact with customers for signatures and invoicing.
• Assist in installation of equipment and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
