Job summary

Rain for Rent is hiring a Driver with a Class A CDL to operate manual transmission trucks for pickup, delivery, and equipment installation. You will represent the company at customer sites and ensure safe, on-time service across our liquid handling solutions.

The role requires DOT regulations knowledge, ability to read maps and plan routes, and strong attention to safety and paperwork accuracy. Weekend availability may be needed, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or better.
• 18 months of verifiable DOT truck driving experience.
• Valid Class A driver's license and acceptable DMV record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Physical Card and other industry-related certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Drive manual transmission trucks to pick up, deliver, and unload company pipe and equipment.
• Load, secure, and unload materials for scheduled deliveries.
• Assist field crew with unloading equipment and installing tanks, pumps, pipes, hoses, and filtration systems.
• Complete Job Site Analysis for customer or job sites where work is to be performed.
• Interact with customers to obtain signatures for work orders and invoicing as required.
• Keep accurate written records and work orders of all deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain DOT driver logs and comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections and report needed maintenance.
• Assist in installation of tanks, pumps, pipes, fittings, and related equipment.
• Complete paperwork for rental orders and service jobs.
• Perform minor emergency roadside repairs.
