Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in High Point, NC is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to transport and deliver product to customers from the warehouse by tractor trailer, loading and unloading as required.

You will follow DOT regulations, maintain logs, and ensure product safety and proper storage. The role requires the ability to read and speak English, and availability for overnight schedules, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year tractor trailer experience preferred.
• Commercial Driver's License Class A required; insurability a condition of employment.
• Ability to read/speak English proficiently for communication and records.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customers and delivers per invoices.
• Unloads goods by hand or with hand cart, placing items in designated areas.
• Picks up damaged goods and returns to the SYGMA warehouse as needed.
• Completes paperwork per company and governmental guidelines (logs, inspections, invoices).
• Maintains food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Communicates route or loading issues to management; follows safety methods.
• Operates equipment and maintains logs; works odd hours to meet customer needs.
