This full-time, day-shift position in Shelbyville, IN offers comprehensive benefits and requires safety-conscious, customer-focused driving plus adherence to DOT guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 2 years of commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable).
• Ability to tarp using Conestoga XP Roll Tarp Systems and strap flatbed loads.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment.
• Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance.
• Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines.
• Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett.
• Verify entire content loads prior to leaving facility or job site.
• Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $35.00 per hour

Shift: Day Shift, full time

Site Address: 1780 McCall Dr #9783, Shelbyville, IN 46176

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our dealers, distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor‑trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top‑notch customer service. This is a hands‑on OTR delivery driving position some Saturdays may be required based on business needs.

• Perform pre & post-trip inspections thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
• Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed
• Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
• Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett
• Verify entire content loads prior to leaving manufacturing facility or job site
• Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods
• Other duties as assigned
