Job summary

QXO is seeking a driver to perform touch-freight tasks, load materials, and ensure safe delivery across on-site locations. A Class A or B CDL, ability to lift heavy loads, and experience with manual transmission are required.

You will inspect loads, pre-check trucks, follow DOT safety procedures, and coordinate with dispatch to meet deadlines. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
