Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL driver responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering building products. You will pre-inspect trucks, verify loads, and communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries. Expect outdoor work in various weather conditions and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Requirements include a valid Class A or B CDL, 12 months of driving experience, and ability to operate heavy equipment and manual transmission trucks. Strong teamwork and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and manual transmission trucks.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting, carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, verify load accuracy
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect site for safe loading/unloading
• Maintain regular communication with dispatcher for timely delivery
• Follow DOT and company safety procedures; wear PPE

What you'll do:

• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
