CDL Class A Driver

Location: Milwaukee, WI   *  Transportation/Logistics

Company Overview

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.

Due to continuous growth, we are looking to add a motivated Class A CDL Driver to our logistics team.

This is a full-time 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, with candidates being home in the evenings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Good driving record
• Hazmat Endorsement
• Dry van and flatbed experience required
• Experience with oversize loads preferred
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to back trailers safely into store docks or vendor locations
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds

Required Certifications/Licenses

CDL A

Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods

• Achieve precise delivery times

Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations, including pre- and post-trip inspections, hours of service, medical cards, and drug and alcohol testing.
