Job summary

Shrader Tire & Oil is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to deliver products to customers and fleet stores across Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. You will operate a 53-ft tractor trailer, load/unload, complete required paperwork, and follow all safety guidelines to ensure reliable on-time service.

This full-time role offers home daily, Monday–Friday shifts, 8–10 hours, and a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO after 90 days and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a tractor trailer.
• Minimum 1 year of experience delivering products to customers.
• Must possess a safe and verifiable driving record.
• Must meet federal CDL qualifications including a valid DOT Medical Card and be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repetitively and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of route sheets and paperwork when delivering products.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 53-ft tractor trailer or tanker truck.
• Load and unload products including 55-gallon drums and tires.
• Complete all required paperwork (work orders, signatures, CODs).
• Track hours using an electronic log.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Warehouse duties such as operating forklift and pallet jack; lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class A Driver. This role involves delivering products to our customers and fleet store locations throughout Ohio, Michigan and Indiana, The ideal candidate will have the necessary skills, certifications, and professionalism to handle commercial deliveries safely and efficiently

What you will do

• Operate a 53-ft tractor trailer or tanker truck
• Load and unload of products including 55-gallon drums, 330-gallon totes, packaged goods, tires (stack mounted tires 4-6 high, unmounted tires - 8 high)
• Complete all required paperwork (work orders, signatures, CODs).
• Track hours using an electronic log
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Some warehouse duties such as operating forklift, loading/unloading, operating Pallet Jack. Ability to lift to 75 pounds.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Position Requirements

What you need to know and have:

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a tractor trailer
• Minimum 1 year of experience in delivering products to customers
• Knowledge of route sheets and paperwork when delivering products
• Must have a safe and verifiable driving record
• Must adhere to all safety guidelines including the wearing of appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment - goggles, hi-vis, safety vests, etc.)
• Must provide own safety footwear and outerwear appropriate for all types of weather
• Must meet federal commercial driving qualifications, including possessing a valid DOT Medical Card and be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to work in fast pace physical environment. Must have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds repetitively, twist, push/pull, bend, squat, climb, stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time

• Monday - Friday, 7am Start
• 8-10 hour shifts
• Home Daily
• No Weekends
