Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an experienced delivery driver in Florida to transport materials to customer sites and provide professional service. You will load, secure, and deliver products, verify orders, and maintain logs while upholding safety standards.

A valid Class A CDL, 1 year of delivery driving, and English language proficiency are required; DOT medical card due within five days of request. You will work in a production environment, interact with customers, and participate in safety

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid Class A CDL.
Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
Valid driver's license; pass MVR; DOT medical card within 5 days of request.
Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years; basic math & measurement skills.
Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

Load or assist with loading and securing product in the delivery vehicle.
Deliver orders to customer sites; position vehicle and assist unloading.
Verify order details, maintain logs, and check against invoices.
Serve as customer service liaison and resolve issues as they arise.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety checks per guidelines.
Use handheld devices (DVIR/HOS) as required; maintain logbooks.
Perform pre/post trip inspections; operate forklift or material handling equipment as needed.
