Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL Class A driver in North Carolina to join our delivery team. You will ensure safe deliveries from pick‑up to final delivery, document each step with photos, and work closely with the branch to load, secure, and unload materials.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and customer service, with home nightly, not over‑the‑road travel. Responsibilities include completing logs and paperwork, driving within regulations, and supporting warehouse tasks as

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A required.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens required.
• Knuckle and/or drywall boom truck experience preferred.
• Straight and/or box truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhere to the delivery schedule and follow all directives.
• Document every delivery by taking and uploading photos with the camera phone system.
• Perform a thorough load check on the truck before leaving the branch.
• Work with the Delivery Material Handler to unload materials.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork timely.
• Provide the customer with an invoice and collect the amount on COD deliveries.
• Possibly perform warehouse tasks including loading/unloading materials.
• This position does not require over‑the‑road travel.
