Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Construction Driver to support branch and job site operations. You will transport materials and equipment between branches and job sites, assist with loading, unloading, inventory handling, and yard operations.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A, a safe driving record, and the ability to perform physical labor outdoors. Hours vary; Monday-Saturday with hours based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A license.
• Able to meet company driver qualification requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in construction, industrial, scaffold, or material transportation environments.
• Experience operating a Moffett is highly desired.
• Ability to perform physical labor in construction, industrial, or warehouse environments.
• Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles requiring a CDL Class A license.
• Transport materials and supplies from the branch to job sites.
• Pick up materials from job sites and return to branch for inventory and storage.
• Transfer materials between multiple job sites as needed.
• Inspect cargo to ensure proper loading, securing, and compliance with regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain driver logs and required transportation documentation.
• Communicate deliveries with branch personnel, project managers, dispatchers, and job site teams.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with loading/unloading and yard organization.
• Support inventory control and general labor duties as needed.
