Job summary

Brothers Standard Striping LLC is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites. The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and adherence to DOT regulations, with opportunities to assist on-site tasks after deliveries.

The ideal candidate holds a valid CDL, has a clean driving record, and 2+ years in commercial driving, preferably with construction materials. The position requires lifting and long hours, including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL (depending on vehicle type).
• Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience hauling construction materials or equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with load securement, tie-down procedures, and safe operating practices.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and assist with loading/unloading when required.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles (e.g., dump truck, flatbed, lowboy, or trailer) to transport materials and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks using proper methods to prevent shifting, damage, or injury.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and trip documentation.
• Follow delivery schedules, GPS directions, and instructions from dispatch or supervisors.
• Secure loads using chains, binders, tarps, or straps as needed.
• Comply with all DOT, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Assist crews with labor or site tasks when deliveries are complete (as needed)
• Report any mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicle
