Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Bulk Delivery Driver to operate diesel tractors for local and regional deliveries. You will unload pallets inside customer accounts, interact with customers, and coordinate with sales teams to ensure excellent service.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, ability to pass FMCSA certifications, and prior tractor-trailer experience; Hazmat where required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid FMCSA physical certification.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Class A CDL for Interstate driving.
• Two years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Hazmat certification where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned pre-shift activities to ensure productive shift and review schedules.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and in-route safety checks following FMCSA regulations.
• Safely and legally operate the tractor-trailer and complete freight paperwork with required signatures.
• Plan trips using maps, GPS, or other information to ensure on-time delivery and load securement.
• Load and unload pallets at customer locations and maintain cargo security and trailer seals.
• Perform post-shift tasks including coupling/uncoupling, refueling, and paperwork completion.
