Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English related to FMCSA regulations.
• Valid FMCSA physical certification with Interstate non-excepted classification within 60 days of entry.
• CDL Class A for Interstate driving (manual/automatic) within 60 days of entry.
• 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift activities and review schedules; check equipment and loads.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections per FMCSA regulations.
• Operate tractor-trailer safely and legally; complete freight paperwork with signatures.
• Plan trips using maps, GPS, and information for on-time deliveries.
• Load/unload freight with pallet jacks; maintain safe cargo movement and door operation.
• Complete post-shift tasks including coupling/uncoupling, refueling, and securing equipment.
