Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles in Torrance, CA is seeking a part-time Summer Resident Camp Bus Driver to transport campers and staff safely between camps, sites and field trips during day shifts. Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• California CDL with Airbrakes & Passenger Endorsement, plus 10-year driving record.
• Previous experience driving a school bus, including mountain routes.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Clean motor vehicle record meeting Association Transportation Policy.

Responsibilities

• Drive bus safely per YMCA policies and state laws.
• Perform thorough before-and-after trip checks and log mileage and fuel.
• Maintain routing sheets and mileage records; keep the bus clean.
• Assist with camp operations or activities when not driving; attend staff trainings.
