Driver/Operator
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Raleigh, NC. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Pay: $20.82 – $24.15 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
- Starting pay $20.82 with progression to $24.15 over 5 years.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules, adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Provide exceptional passenger care, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
- Champion vehicle safety through pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting maintenance issues, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat‑belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- 21 years or older.
- Valid CDL Class B with passenger endorsement.
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
- Subject to a DOT drug test and physical if applicable.
Physical Requirements
- Work outdoors in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); walk long distances and on uneven surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift material up to 50 lbs.; bend, kneel, or crouch as needed.
- Endure heavy traffic areas and exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
Drug‑Free Workplace
