Qualifications

• Education, training, and/or experience needed to perform duties.
• Must have a valid California Driver’s License (CDL) and operate commercial vehicles.
• CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a public transit bus on assigned routes according to schedules.
• Comply with DMV requirements, District rules, and safety practices.
• Assist passengers boarding/deboarding and secure wheelchairs as needed.
• Inspect vehicle safety and report malfunctions or incidents promptly.
• Collect fares and ensure accurate fare payments.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings as required.
• Maintain radio communications and follow operating procedures.
