Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Transit Department policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and ADA guidelines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to plan and organize daily assignments.

Responsibilities

• Operates transit vehicles on assigned routes to meet schedules.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
• Provides route information and assists passengers, including ADA considerations.
• Maintains radio contact with dispatch and reports incidents.
