Job summary

DREAM MOBILITY LLC is seeking a professional shuttle driver to ensure safe, timely passenger transport under Federal and state requirements. You will maintain a neat appearance and provide courteous service to passengers and government representatives.

Responsibilities include assisting passengers, inspecting vehicles, complying with safety standards, and maintaining daily trip records. The role offers flexible schedules with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL with P endorsement.
• FMCSA/U.S. DOT registrations & inspections for passenger service.
• Driving record with limited violations and points.
• No DUI/DWI in the last five years.
• Registered with WMATA.
• Able to pass a NACI background check.
• No felony convictions or pending actions.
• Minimum three years of CMV experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Examination card.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Meet licensing requirements including medical certifications and drug testing for the vehicle type.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance in business casual attire.
• Obey all traffic laws while performing duties.
• Provide a polite, professional demeanor with passengers and officials.
• Assist handicapped passengers (loading/unloading wheelchairs).
• Keep vehicles clean and safe; inspect for defects and hazards.
• Do not use cell phones while the vehicle is in motion without a hands‑free device.
• Check passenger IDs before boarding as required.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain records for one year.
• Record number of passengers by stop; inspect if left unattended.
• Listen to radio stations at a low level; choose acceptable stations.
• Take short breaks per schedule at secure locations.
• Coordinate maintenance so it does not delay pickups/drop-offs.
