Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires valid Connecticut Driver’s License with endorsements (public service, passenger).
• Five years driving experience with clean two-year record.
• Must be physically able to lift 60 lbs and operate vehicles safely.
• DOT drug and alcohol screening required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Estuary Transit District vehicles and transport passengers safely to destinations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, fueling, and interior/exterior cleaning.
• Maintain accurate trip records and assist passengers as needed.
• Process fares, communicate via radio, and follow supervisor instructions.
