Job summary

Butler County Regional Transit Authority is seeking dedicated bus drivers to serve Hamilton, Middletown, and Oxford. You will operate 35-foot coaches and 25-passenger shuttles, delivering safe, reliable service while assisting passengers across Butler County.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with merit-based raises and potential higher starting pay for qualified experience. Full-time roles include health benefits, retirement plan, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement is required.
• Clean driving record (fewer than four points).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and DOT drug screen.
• Ability to pass state and national background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 35-foot transit coaches and 25-passenger cutaway vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service to every passenger.
• Help people travel safely throughout Butler County.
• Work independently while following established routes and procedures.
• Use onboard technology, including tablets and mobile applications (we'll train you!).
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
