Job summary

Transdev seeks a Bus Driver/Operator in Auburn, AL to provide safe, reliable transportation with a focus on customer service. You will follow routes and schedules, ensure passenger safety, and maintain vehicle readiness across shifts, including day, evening, weekend, and overnight hours.

Qualified candidates hold CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsements, have at least 3 years of driving experience, and can pass DOT drug testing. Benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement (remove if not required).
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Availability to work day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts as assigned.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Safety-focused operations: follow routes and schedules with safety protocols.
• Passenger care: assist boarding, rides, and disembarkation.
• Vehicle vigilance: pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues.
• Adherence to protocols: seat belt enforcement, emergency preparedness, regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.
