Riverview Estates Rehabilitation & Senior Living in Riverton, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to transport residents to appointments, events, and outings while ensuring safety and well-being.

You will maintain records, assist residents with mobility, and coordinate with other departments to meet care needs. A CDL with passenger endorsement is required, along with a high school diploma and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bus, van, or other transportation vehicle to transport residents to scheduled appointments, social events, and outings
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, courteous, and respectful to residents and their families
• Assist residents with mobility and mobility aids as needed, and provide emotional support
• Maintain accurate records of transportation services including trip manifests, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance schedules
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate transportation services for residents
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues to supervisor

• Assist residents with their mobility and mobility aids, if needed, and provide emotional support as necessary

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of transportation services and meet the needs of our residents




• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the designated supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required




• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement




• Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications




• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills




• Ability to work independently and as part of a team




• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
