Job Summary
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Baltimore, MD (Charm City Circulator). As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Compensation and Benefits
- $27.00 per hour; wages increase to $28.00 per hour in July.
- Plus overtime when available.
- Vacation: up to 14 days per year
- Paid Sick Leave: 8 hrs monthly for full‑time employees, 5 hrs monthly for part‑time employees

Key Responsibilities
- Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules, and adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
- Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, report maintenance issues, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, enforce seat‑belt use, emergency response preparedness, and compliance with regulatory mandates.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements
- Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
