Job summary

Builders Supply, a CRH company, is seeking a Truck Driver to operate trucks for transporting dirt, aggregate, asphalt, and other materials to job sites. The role includes yard work, material handling, and ensuring safe operation per supervisor instructions.

Ideal candidates will have a CDL A or B, at least two years of tractor/trailer experience, and a focus on safety and reliability on construction sites across Louisiana.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Two years of related tractor/trailer driving experience preferred.
• Must maintain a CDL A or CDL B license.
• Previous related experience in construction field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates truck in safe and professional manner on highways, in yards and at job sites to deliver materials.
• Follow all company policies for safe procedures and report problems to manager.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with proper documentation.
• Attach/detach trailers and trailers as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle mileage.
• Load/unload materials; may require manual unloading.
• Ensure product quality and keep truck clean and organized.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees.
