Job summary

Builders Supply, A CRH company, seeks a Bulk Truck Driver in Lake Charles, LA, to operate various trucks delivering dirt, aggregates, and materials to job sites. You will also stockpile materials in yards and assist in general labor as needed.

The role requires a CDL A or B, clean driving record, DOT/MSHA compliance, and the ability to work nights/weekends. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of tractor/trailer driving experience preferred.
• Must hold CDL A or CDL B license.
• Previous related construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks in a safe and professional manner to deliver materials.
• Follow company policies and report problems to management.
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections per MSHA guidelines.
• Attach/detach trailers and transfer equipment as needed.
• Maintain vehicle logs and monitor gauges during operation.
• Load and unload materials; assist with manual handling when required.
• Keep truck clean and ensure product quality.
• Promote a safe work environment with coworkers.
